The 31 Andalusian social economy enterprises to be trained with SOFIGREEN: from responsible education centres to circular economy and sustainable logistics

Thirty-one Andalusian cooperatives have been selected to participate in the training course provided by the SOFIGREEN project, which aims to strengthen the sustainability of the processes and activities of beneficiary companies, improving their ability to attract investment for the green transition also through the expansion of collaboration networks.
The companies come from a variety of business sectors, from responsible education centres to sustainable logistics and health and social centres aiming to improve the carbon footprint of their activities. Here is an overview of the selected companies:
- co-operatives linked to the health sector, such as Medysalud, Novocare or El Roble Solidario;
- organisations linked to logistics (seen from different perspectives) and recycled car parts, such as Setransfar, Ambulancias Andalucía, Mahimon and Industrias Gregasa;
- co-operatives in the Education and Training area, CooperativaTE, Politécnico de Jaén, Desatando Ideas and Santa María de los Ángeles;
- a large group of companies in the field of consultancy such as Exeo, T&D Consulting (CINDE), ICEPS and QUA Consultores;
- the largest group for training is made up of cooperatives dealing with circular economy, reuse and extraction of by-products, environmental consultancy and energy sustainability. Examples of these are Social Climate, Ecogestiona, Miconatura Los Alcornocales, Coopenergías, La Sal de la Mar, La Raiz Impact Lab, 800 Olivos and Microambiental;
- as for tourism, hospitality and the link with the land as a source of resources, we have Bamen, Tomatierra and Raff4;
- finally, in a more transversal way, companies such as Muebles Ébano (furniture production), Tartessos Málaga (Senior Co-housing), La Urdimbre (sustainable architecture) and Art Diversia (inclusive cultural manager) will be part of SOFIGREEN.
